Michael Bay Reveals Transformers 4’s Hound

Over the past few days, Michael Bay has been unveiling the new vehicles that will be seen on his upcoming blockbuster Transformers 4. The latest Transformer to be revealed is the Hound, in the form of a military tactical vehicle.

The Hound vehicle belongs to the line of (Medium Tactical Vehicle) MTVs from Oshkosh Defense. Hound has already appearances in the toy franchise and the video game franchise and is generally seen as a Jeep Wrangler. While the Jeep Wrangler perfectly complements Hound’s rugged and reliable character, it was obviously not butch enough for Michael Bay, who feels a military tactical vehicle better represents Hound’s character.

The world-famous director who usually directs action movies, had earlier unveiled the other Autobot vehicles as well, including Bumblebee, in the form of a highly modified vintage 1967 Camaro SS, and Optimus Prime in the form of a custom-built, totally upgraded truck from Western Star. Bay also revealed that the $2.4 million Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse will also form one of the Autobots, although he did not specify which one.

Transformers 4 is set for a worldwide release on June 27, 2014 and stars Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles and Li Bingbing. However, there is still no word on the story outline of the new movie yet. The fourth movie in the successful franchise, Transformers 4 will be special to Michael Bay as this will be his last Transformers movie, following which a new director will take his place.
