Special edition Audi A6 unveiled

The newly unveiled special edition of the Audi A6 boasts of new added features and comes for a price of Rs 46.33 lakh, that is for the Premium Plus 2.0 TDI model.

According to sources the A6 special edition has been revealed by Audi to commemorate the fact that they have sold a whooping 6000 A6’s in India. This special edition of the A6 is an amalgamation of features already in the model and other new modifications to provide the purchaser an Audi A8 like feel, especially for the passengers.

This very advanced A6 model includes features like keyless go, 4 zonal climatic control, air suspension which is adjustable, MMI touchpad, music system powered by Bose and 8 airbags. All these apart, this special edition also boasts of controls resembling A8 in the hind seats to slide forward the passenger seat in front for more legroom. A remote control is also provided for the rear passengers to control the MMI system. The A6 also wears full cornering LED headlights.

This special edition of the A6 comes in one among three available engine option packages. Although, this engine option package can be added only to Navigation Variants and the Premium Plus variants the Audi A6. This currently is available only as a limited period offer, but these features would eventually be made a part of the list of options later on. An eventual effect of this would be that mid standard Premium Plus models will also get makeovers including DVD capabilities and MMI touchpads in future.
