Germany automobile giant Volkswagen has launched a brand-new ‘Match Edition’ of its existing Polo line in the UK, replacing the existing Match Edition. The new Polo Match Edition has been made available with Nil Advance Payment under the Motability Scheme.
Volkswagen is offering the car in two different models- the 1.2-liter 59bhp 3-door manual version and the 1.4-liter 84bhp 5-door automatic version. While the former is priced at £12,045, the latter comes with a price-tag of £15,240 (RRP ‘on the road’). The new Polo Match Edition is also more eco-friendly, offering a fuel economy of up to 25.63kmpl (combined cycle) and CO2 emissions of only 102g per km.
The Polo Match Edition also comes with some new features such as rear parking sensors, alarm with interior protection and cruise control. On the exterior, the car flaunts new 15-inch Castille alloy wheels that ooze style, tinted rear windows that perform the function of heat insulation and fog lights below the headlamps. On the inside, it is evident that Volkswagen has sought to improve the comfort & convenience features through including an RCD 310 radio and CD player, a Multi Device Interface (MDI) with iPod support, a sophisticated multi-function computer and a manual air conditioner system. The new Match Edition also comes with electric windows, exterior mirrors that can be adjusted electrically and remote central locking, giving the driver the ultimate in comfort and convenience. The car also comes with the safety features that are standard on all Polos- 4 airbags, ESP and ABS.
